Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, today announced the appointment of Jo Kendall as Head of Catastrophe & Exposure Management, reporting to the Group Chief Actuary, Jonathan Tilman.
Kendall brings 15 years of industry experience to Ed. She joins from Willis Re where she led the London specialty cat modelling team. Prior to joining Willis Re, she worked for the broker Aon and an insurance company.
Jonathan Tilman commented: “Jo brings deep knowledge of cat modelling and exposure management to the team, including expertise in the use of SpatialKey. Her appointment is another significant step in the strengthening of Ed’s actuarial and catastrophe management capability, allowing us to devise more effective risk mitigation strategies possible for our clients.”
