Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, today announces the appointment of Michael Lock as divisional director in its professional and executive risk team, effective immediately. Michael will report to Niraj Perera, head of transactional risk.
In this role Michael’s financial acumen and private equity expertise will provide invaluable support in offering insurance solutions for M&A transactions, including warranty and indemnity, tax liability and contingent liability. Michael, a Big 4 qualified chartered accountant, has over 10 years of transactions experience. He has spent the past five years investing either directly for private equity funds or as part of buy and build programmes for their portfolio companies.
