In this role Michael’s financial acumen and private equity expertise will provide invaluable support in offering insurance solutions for M&A transactions, including warranty and indemnity, tax liability and contingent liability. Michael, a Big 4 qualified chartered accountant, has over 10 years of transactions experience. He has spent the past five years investing either directly for private equity funds or as part of buy and build programmes for their portfolio companies.
Niraj commented: "Michael’s appointment closely follows the arrival of Robert Coward and evidences Ed’s continued expansion of our bespoke transactional risks offering. Despite the current economic climate, Ed has a strong focus on the M&A market, and continuing to hire and invest in the best industry talent means that we can provide top-tier support and advice to our clients. Michael’s UK and international investment expertise and experience working on M&A transactions will be an asset to our team, as we deliver specialty solutions to our private equity, legal and corporate clients."
