Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, today announces the appointment of Brett Hatton as Divisional Director, Downstream Energy. Based in London, Hatton will report to Jon Parker, who leads the downstream energy team, and will begin in September.
Hatton brings a wealth of expertise to Ed, with 24 years’ of industry experience, 18 of which has been spent in downstream energy. He joins from Marsh JLT Specialty where he most recently held the position of Senior Vice President and previously headed up the downstream broking team. Prior to joining Marsh in 2002, he was an Offshore Account Executive at Miller.

Brett is an impressive addition to our energy team and his expansive knowledge will be key in our continued ability to supply the advice and support that our clients have come to rely on.
