Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, today announced the appointment of Duncan Childs as Wordings Advisory Manager for the Professional & Executive Risk team. He takes up his role with immediate effect and will report to James Baird, Director, Professional & Executive Risk.
Childs brings nearly two decades of experience in insurance law to the role and will be responsible for drafting bespoke policy wordings for Ed’s clients. He joins from global law firm – Eversheds Sutherland where he served in the specialist insurance coverage team acting on behalf of clients from across the insurance business landscape. Prior to this, he worked at insurance law specialists – Davies Lavery (now Kennedys) acting on behalf of (re)insurers and defending professional indemnity claims. Duncan is a qualified lawyer and trained at a specialist insurance law firm, Beachcroft.
